My training career started out in boxing at the age of 12. At age 19 after 50 boxing contests I realised it was time to start weight training to become a heavyweight boxer.

It was here my bodybuilding journey began...

After 6 months weight training I won the junior Mr British Isles in 1984.

4 years later I won 1988 Class 1 Mr Britain, securing the overall a year later in 1989.

Dreams of becoming a pro grew ever stronger and after 2 years of challenging I eventually won my IFBB Pro Card in 1991.

1992-1996 I competed on the IFBB pro circuit across the world, In 1996 I returned to NABBA and pursued the elusive Mr Universe title.

Winning it consecutively for 5 years 1997-2001, breaking Arnold Schwarzenegger’s benchmark record.

I then decided to turn my hand to strongman.

In a short lived career I took the title of England’s Strongest Man three times consecutively from 2003-2005, competing at worlds strongest man and captained the UK in several Strongman events worldwide.

My expertise, knowledge and experience in bodybuilding, strongman, and nutrition/supplementation is second to none. Helping many athletes, from world champion bodybuilders & strongmen, Olympic and professional athletes including boxers, swimmers, sprinters, rugby players and footballers.
